The famous English violinist Priya Mitchell will play The Four Seasons, the Venetian composer’s most famous work, together with the Camerata Bariloche.
The latter will then be joined by the Grupo de Canto Coral choir and famous solo voices including Ian Honeyman from Britain and locals Graciela Oddone and Susanna Moncayo Von Hase in interpreting “DIXIT DOMINUS” and “RV 595”, conducted by the prestigious Italian maestro Francesco Fanna.
Given the worldwide shortage of nurses, the British Hospital gives priority to economically supporting its school, which trains nurses free of charge up to highly recognised professional standards.
All the money raised from the tickets sold for this concert and its institutional sponsors will go towards that end.
The oldest nurses training institution in the country (founded in 1890 by Isabel Eames, who had herself been trained by Florence Nightingale), the Escuela de Enfermería has been granting university degree in nursing since 1994 in conjunction with UBA (Universidad de Buenos Aires). Over its 129 years the school has trained almost 2,000 professional nurses.
